Where is it?
The Dynastar Test Center is at the top station of the Lognan cable car (on the terrace) in the heart of the Grands-Montets ski area in Chamonix (Argentière).
The Test Center aims to promote the Dynastar range of skis by letting members of the public and ski professionals test Dynastar's range for the current year.
When is it open?
The Test Center will be open every day from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. until the beginning of May.
What do I need to do to be able to test your skis?
Firstly you need to come to the test center with a "Test Voucher", one piece of identification, and a credit card for the deposit against theft or loss and damage to the equipment.
You will then be able to test the skis of your choice for a period of up to 2 hours.
Testing is free and open to all, subject to production of the documents mentioned above (adults and accompanied children, subject to stock. Clients accept responsibility for the condition of loaned equipment, which will be inspected each time it is returned. Repairs may be invoiced).
How do I obtain a "Test Voucher"?
You can get a Test Voucher from any Dynastar stockist in the Chamonix Valley.
- Chamonix : Snell, Coquoz, Sport Alpin, Sanglard, Pro Ski, Desailloud.
- St Gervais : Unlimited, Twinner.
- Les Houches: Cyprien sport.
- Argentière: Hurycana sport, Namaste, Sportech, Savoy sport, Pezier sport, Grands Montets sport, Stamos, Sanglard.
The voucher is free, just ask in store.
Want to film your day skiing and your test?
No problem, bring a piece of identification and a bank card for the deposit and you can take home a video of your test. You'll be lent a Contour video camera mounted on a Lange helmet so that you can film your exploits...
The video file(s) will be sent to you by email or saved directly on your USB key.
So, just come try the skis that have been tempting you and form your own opinion, enjoyment guaranteed...
The icing on the cake is that the Grands-Montets ski area is a perfect test laboratory for all types of skiing, from freeride through freestyle to slalom.

Special events this season
Thursday May 8, Women's Day
A day especially for women. The entire Exclusive women's range will be available for testing during the day (on production of ID).
Stand on the Lognan terrace from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The test center will remain open for testing across the whole range.
Monday April 9, Dynastar Ski Test
A test day for the whole of the 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 Dynastar ranges (on production of ID).
Stands on the Lognan terrace from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Test center closed for the day.
Sunday April 22, Touring Test Day
A test day especially for the alti range. The entire touring range as well as skins and crampons will be available for testing during the day (on production of ID) to promote the new 2011/2012 range and the Look alti 12 binding.
Stand on the Lognan terrace from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The test center will remain open for testing across the whole range.
