TRUE BLUE TEAM - A SUCCESSFUL WINTER FOR RACING ATHLETES

Race results for the 2022-2023 ski season

Under the impetus of a Federica Brignone in top shape this winter again, the True Blue Team has achieved many successes. Review of season highlights.

Federica Brignone, a new winter on top

She had started the winter timidly and then, at the right time, Federica Brignone (ITA) started to win many races. Juming on her first podium in Kranjska Gora in January, she then piled up successes, podiums to finally take the title of Combined World Champion and had a superb silver medal in giant.

Ski cross stronger than anything

He shone above all by his regularity and by only one demonstration in February. Florian Wilmsmann (GER), has almost never left the top 10 in the World Cup and finished 2nd in the overall. But where he really stood out was when he took a silver medal at the world champs.

David Mobaerg (SWE), in good shape from the start to the end of the winter, won 3 times in the World Cup, finished third in the overall and won the title of World Team Champion.

Finally, Youri Duplessis-Kergomard (FRA) had his best career season with 4 World Cup podiums.

World Cup podiums for Miradoli, Noël and Caviezel

Romane Miradoli (FRA) is the first to have been on the podium in December in St Moritz with a 3rd place in Super G. Unfortunately injured afterwards, we hope to see her in good shape next winter.

Looking for a ski more regular, Clément Noël (FRA) won a prestigious victory at Schladming in January, then climbed twice more on the podium. The mark of champions!

Finally, Gino Caviezel (SUI) has been close from his first victory on the Schladming giant with a high-flying second place.

Antoine Azzolin et Josua Mettler stand out

Josua Mettler (SUI) who scored his first World Cup points in Kitzbuehel after only 4 starts on the tour also left his mark on the European Cup season by winning the overall ranking easily.

Antoine Azzolin (FRA) also stood out with a magnificent bronze medal obtained during the Junior World Championships slalom.
