The Fit of the boot (or last) is the width of the foot measured at the 5th metatarsal (widest part of the forefoot). It determines the level of control and precision of the skier. For a good ratio between comfort and control, choose a boot that matches the overall volume and length of your foot. Fit between 92-95 mm: Narrow, Fit between 97-99 mm: Medium, Fit between 100-102 mm: Comfort

Stifness
The “flex” of a boot indicates the level of support that boot will deliver. The greater (stiffer) the flex index, the more rigid and reactive the boot will be. The lesser (softer) the flex index, the more tolerant and comfortable.

Regarding above question/answer on the last of the RS 130 Wide, the information at the top of the page for the RS 130 Wide says that it's a 97mm last. If the RS 130 Wide is a 100mm last, you may want to correct that at the top of RS 130 Wide page.

Asked by: neilrDINK
Hi! Thank you for pointing that out. Our team is working on making that correction to the last of the RS 130 Wide now. Thank you! The Lange Team

Last on the wide is the same as the rs 130 according to the website? Also is there any change to the inner tongue foam and plastic bonding wraparound this season as this seems to wear out very quickly compared to the rest of the boot rendering it useless!

Asked by: Gavkat
Hi! The last of our RS 130 is 97mm while the RS 130 Wide is 100mm. While the look of our RS boot has updated for the 19/20 season, the technology in the boot remains the same. If you have any further questions, please send us an email at infodynausa@dynastar.com Thank You! The Lange Team
